Would this be a good strategy?

Hey I am just wondering if this would be a good idea:
going blm/whm up to blm lev 18 then switching to whm/blm to get whm up to 60 then becoming a summoner.....When I get to this I dont know whether I should then put sum as SJ or main...Could someone tell me whether this is A) a good idea, and then if it is B) should I go Sum/whm or whm/sum




P.S. the blm was just to have some decent attack spells.

I intend to do the same thing. A lot of people have told me that a blm/whm is pretty good if you're choosing a race with high MP (Taru). I was also going to become a summoner later on. Most have told me that Summoner is better as a main job and to have whm as the support job.

Hey boys can I join in.....Um y do u waste your time lvling lvling blkmage...I mean I'm never gonna be whitemage any time soon but ur gonna be blkmage then switch to blkmageI mean, just be white mage and switch to summoner.....ne ways at the begining for me it's gonna be blkmage...to blkmage/monk,paladin or warrior (Y monk makes my hp goes up..warior attacks paladin makes my defense+power go up and gives me some whtmagic skills) then after I get to lvl 30 i will start to do some of the harder quest and raise my fame in the cities needed! Then of to fight the summonings!:mad: *USES FLARE*:mad:

Well, leveling the Black Mage up was so I could do some solo work while leveling up my white mage, basically just so I could defend myself and maybe help a little bit in a group then become a summoner. Although I dont know everything about how the jobs work so Im not totally set, but who knows?

I'm just saying what most people have told me. I'm mainly gonna level up BLM and WHM, then when I become summoner, I'll probably be a Summoner/Black Mage. Just me though.....

YAY!! Taru's, lol. Y'know what? We should make a guild/ls system called "Windurst Milita" or something of the sort. Imagine an alliance of 16 BLM/WHM/RDM/SUM Tarus blasting enemies with various spells. Screw tankers

well look at my ultimate job...Under my avatar..thats what I'm going to end up with.Anyways people are starting to make a clan of all mages..It's called Those Who Defend Magic.. it's for the US release so it has not been created but it's being planned u could mail Painter (yes this is his name) to figure the details cuz I really don't know which mage u like the best. My mage is the blkmage and summoner(but this comes like real later on) I also take delight in the ninja's skill. lol I also like the samurai but in this game a samurai isn't a samurai I like fast paced sword battles.. not slight fluid cuts..
