Does the Beast affinity raise the level cap on jugs? From what I know about SE, I'd like to have this question answered before I blow 150k+ xp on merits for something that doesn't help. Also, if someone gets info on the duration of terrorize, that would be most appreicated.

P.S. If I can merit my funguar jugs to 75 cap, I will wet my pants.

I don't know if you can do it but you can't level Fungar to 75 since it caps at 65 and the max amount of upgrades put into the new JA/JT catagory is 6, the best you can hope for is a 71 Fungar. There's also a cap for each JA/JT which you could only upgrade it a certain amount of times (like max 5 on Killer Effects, and the such).

If you can upgrade Beast Affinity a maximum of 5 times then you can get funguar to 75 because even upgrade to beast affinity an extra 2 lvls added to your jug.

Ya, affinity gives 2 levels, so you only need 4 and your AF2 gloves and you're set.

Rumor has it that you can only put 3 merits max into one ability. I have yet to see anyone confirm that though, and it'd blow if that was the case.

I can confirm that the Group 2 Merits can only receive up to 3 levels at the moment. This may change at a later date, however.

(I'm also surprised that Beast Affinity doesn't give at least 4 pet levels per level, it seems to me that a max merited BST ought to be able to pick just about any jug pet they darn well please and be successful).

They should either let us do 5 upgrades or make it +2^# of upgrades or +3/upgrade

No offence but can I ask how you can confirm this? Is it that on your BRD you have only been able to do three, or is this BST tested?

I saw a test done on Allakazham with startling results, the Funguar did 70-80 damage pre-merit, then when the BST put in an Affinity merit, damage jumped to 100+ per hit. I'm gonna try this myself later on, but it seems as though the first merit could very well be +5 pet levels. If that's so, then 3 Merits in Affinity would bring funguars and tigers up to 74, and the gloves would bring them in at a solid 75. But that's a big if.
