Level 49 and stuck >_<

Ok, this is a post in desperation after bouncing around at level 49 not breaking more than 1.5k into the level before losing it. I have tried every spot on the guide on alla (w. altepa beetles, CN lizards, Labyrinth stuff etc~) and none of them are working ; ;

Its incredibly frustrating as once i get 5k or so into the level i will be ready to start duoing with my friend. If it helps i level as Bst/Nin and carry antidotes etc as i cannot play mage jobs and have usually found it very effective (4~5k hour in decent spots).

But yeh, if anyone knows a decent spot for these levels, I would very much appreciate if you could share it.

I did 48-50 in Onzozo with leeches on Cocatrices and gobs.

Yeh i've done that, but the level difference between leeches and the cocks/gobs is huge. I guess i'll just have to grind away >_< or attempt to find a duo partner as i found that worked well there.

Yeah, you can prolly go to Gustav earlier, but I waited until 50 as well so I could sneak/invis for the pulls.

This is one of the best xp Ive gotten so far next to GC hellmines.
You need to be really really careful about hate. Anything will turn hate to you. Casting utsusemi, attacking, using food, etc.

once you get the hang of it, you'll be able to get 300xp per kill w/o ring.

i actually had real good luck here as well. i had a pt who was near me who left the goblin shepards alone unless they had no other choice. if that was the case they would wait for me, an let me take the pet. they also use to watch my pulls incase i linked the gob, then they would assist me. about the nicest pt ive ever exped near.

The Leeches are level 45-48 and the Cockatrices are 50-53 but any BST knows that leeches have an insane number of hitpoints so they stand up to the Cockas quite well. The only problem is when they get petrified - you need to swap pets. A lot of BSTs level here and 49 is tough so perhaps you could give it another try?

Do you mean explosures? I'd think the hellmines would be nearly impossible to fight at this level.



Personally, I did Onzozo at 49, almost entirely on gobs. ; ; I too found the level difference between the leeches and cocks to be really large so I stayed away from them mostly. The petrify move was just too much for those poor leeches. =p

Thanks for the advice guys ^^ in the end i just did teensy amounts of xp in Labyrinth and CN then got a good chunk from an ENM to get me high enough to start duoing ^^, dinged 50 yesterday with my new static partner :D

Grats. Level 49 was seriously the most painful level I experienced until lvl 68...which is hopefully now much better with the new options in Aht Urghan.

49 is a real grind. I just stuck it out in the Labyrinth continuing with leeches vs gobs by the entrance, with the occasional cockatrice although there petrify move irritated the crap out of me.

From lv49 to 52, I stayed in CN killing lizards and then exorays.
Exp is not good, but I took it as 1/2 exp and 1/2 farm.
I tried Onzozo, but I couldn't exp when there was regular PTs killing goblins, so I came back to CN.
