Stuck at LV 23

I'm stuck at LV 23. I tried Carpenter's Landing and everything was DC-EM. Maybe a T once in a while. Links were common; there is not enough room there. At Valkurm everything is basically EP-EM. I tried Maze of S. Everything was TOO tough there... Does anyone have any suggestions? Should I just try and choose a place and grind it out?

Try jugner.Tame even matches funguars and hunt tigers(22-25),funguars(21-25) and goblins.Hunt along the road.Also in buburimu,if you hunt near a zone(onzozo or bibiki) you can tame em leeches and hunt tough ones,their lvl is from 21-25.In sauromugue you can tame even match hill lizards(22-26) and hunt goblins beetle(23-25),but this is very dangerous because its goblin pathfinders(30-36) which summon these.Watch until its back is turned then dia its pet.After you kill it ,the gob will summon it again.There are alot of places more to lvl but im only listing these few:p

gobs pets are always overcons, which makes them great prey. Fighting them is a good way to get dead, the corrolary to which is that it makes you a better BST. fast.

I'm lvl 23 right now and getting great exp in bubu (right now, like as I type). Zu rock crawlers and gobs alike, dalmels eat gobs alive, and I'm about to try leeches as pets. I feel like a complete goon, but I'm really excited because the job finally feels like it's coming together. I can finally melee alongside EM pets, and the exp is the fastest I've gotten as BST.

My recommendation:

Buburimu- Zu, Dhamels, Crawlers are all lvl 20-23 so you should find lots of EM to send at Gobs.

Valkurm (Hidden beach)- Fight gobs and pugils with pugils (23-26) flies, and leeches as pets. I stayed here till 25, then went to ordelles, but at times it was slow, especially if there were other groups there.

In hindsight, I wish I had leveled in Bubu, but it doesnt really matter now.

hahaha Somebody else noticed this as well. I was waiting for somebody to mention this. I've taken EP Leeches against multiple EMs before. They're damn near the worlds greatest pet!

Slimes get my vote for greatest pet *if* you can charm them. If you 2 hour an EM slime with and feed some pet food, it will take out multiple toughs before dying.

at 23 right now, and had some fun in korrolokka tunnel,
basically Charmed an EM slime, .... 2hr, then raped the worms for all they are worth,
the slime holds good hate, due to the dmg ratio of 2:1 on the worm, so you can easily fight after the first 2 hits, i have got a chain 5, its was very pretty, only stopped because there was 2 other pts there, basically, you can do this for 30 mins, then you go back to EM bats vs the worms,
i recieved around 2.7-3k xp in that half hour, but unfortunately i miss timed my Stay, i was too greedy and went after just one more with 1:30mins left on the Familiar, heh killed the worm, uncharmed and the slime did a waterga SP and i went down like a brick, hehe, but man, it was great, kept topping my pet up with Delta biscuits

I was so overconfident that after getting raised I tryed an EM Bat vs a double stacked worm and they owned my pet and me hehe, so i logged for the night,

Leeches have a ton of HP, ive had a DC's take out T's again simply the use of a biscuit

when damage mitigation is 1:1 whoever has the most HP wins,
now pre 25 we dont get a SIC, this believe it or not helps us out, due to EM vs EM battles especially same species, as the SP will do just enough extra dmg to the pet to ensure it dies first,


anyway tonight ill go back to korra and use my 2hr again, then if i havent dinged ill head to bubu again, at 24-35 ill put up my seek with nin war and rdm sj's listed, i cant wait for sic command, at 25, and tame if going to me a fun addage, anyhew thats me,

at 23 bubu finally makes a great location, as the dhamel peak at 23 as ems, this way you can just keep throwing them at gobs,

the leeches in bubu will more than not con T's at 23 but you may get lucky,

crawlers have less HP than dhamel, and their SP's are poison and slow, so you will easily be able to heel your dhamel and then one shot the crawler,

at 23 i found jugner to start conning belowEM, leeches are ep to em, and toughs are not that easy to come by,

and too much risk regards to adds and aggro,

jugner was great for 21-22,

em leeches owned T beetles,
