>_< Stuck at level 39
Hey all ^^

I've been levelling BST for a while now, and enjoying it, but i go to level 39 a few days ago, and cant seem to find a decent levelling spot.

I've tried Eastern Altepa Desert where mobs range from DC to T, but there are way too many DC's and not enough T's around to make any decent progress. So i decided to head into Yhoator Jungle, found a nice spot with Yhoator Wasps conning EM - T, but this time, there were too many T's and not enough EM, not to mention the area was swamped with VT goblins.

Is there anywhere else i could try? Or should i just head back to the desert and slog my way to level 40?

Also, at level 40, where would you reccomend? I was thinking Crawlers Nest? I've read up on the guide at Allakazham but being level 39 and looking at that makes me think that those spots aren't going to work.

Any help would be awsome.

Thanks ^^

At level 39, I believe I was still killing ghasts in Sea Serpent Grotto using leeches as pets. My favorite camp spot is the room where Namtar NM bone pops. Right before that room, there's a section with a ton of leeches to charm. The only problem though is if you're careless and fail charm, you'll have a ton of leech links on you.

After 39, I exp'd on goblin poachers in Yhoat. Explosive/suicidal mobs are probably the best source of exp as a BST. With good timing, you can release pet at the point where a mob can no longer stop itself from blowing up and earn full exp.

I just hit Bst 40 today, and tried Yuhtunga charming Em crawlers and sending them at goblin poachers,south-east of the map.Regarding what the above poster said, its extremely difficult to anticipate whether the gob will blow itself up and release it for full exp, because bomb toss sometimes isnt self-destrcut,and most of the time its just a bomb toss doing damage.Nevertheless, its still good exp in here, way better than east althepa.

If you have the ability to find a duo partner, I can recommend a great spot. If you are going solo, I cant give you any advice from experience because I duoed through those levels.

Ok, so IF you can get a partner, head to East Altepa desert and both of you find an Even Match Dhamel (lvl 39-44) and take them to the tunnel in the South-West corner at the zone to West Altepa. There are lots of gobs near the oasis and a couple spawn near the cave as well. Use the dhamels against the gobs, releasing when needed, and enjoy the incredible exp you will get. Our record was chain #4 280 exp, but we regularly got chain #1/2 240+ as well. You HAVE to fight with your pets at level 40-41 or they will die. When gob readies a bomb, just run in opposite direction hes throwing it and you wont get hit, or you will take less damage. Suicides are awesome, you will take a lot of damage but it allows you to get fast chains.

This is where we stayed till about level 44 when the exp started thinning out. Of course you cant solo here till about 44, and even then, its risky since there arent many pets around.

Good luck, and watch out for the odd lost soul spawn at night time.

It's almost worth it just to release your pet when you see bomb toss action in your chat log anyway. If it's a regular bomb toss, and your pet is tanking it, it will cancel the bomb toss if you release your pet. Otherwise, if it's a suicide bomb, you'll get full exp without worry of timing the release. If it's a regular bomb, just re-charm and continue fighting. If your macros are set up correctly, you can accomplish this maybe taking 1-2 hits before your pet gets hate again. This is where Blink comes in handy.

I was spamming the gob pet exp till I was lvl.40. When I hit lvl.40, i found a nice sweet spot in Yuh. Jungle at the SE corner. Used pet crawlers against gobs. Crawlers didn't aggro, but did link on mis-charms.

Does this apply to bombs as well? I remembered getting my lvl 35 and "Leave" in Gusgen mines exping on bombs using flies and funguars as pets.A few times when i saw self destruct go off in the chat log,i would try to guess the timing and release the pet for full exp.Sometimes when i got it wrong,it wouldnt blow itself up and come after me instead:confused:

I don't know. It applies to the gobs, though. That's what me and my BST duo partner did in Yuhtunga in the SE corner, crawlers on gobs. We noticed everytime we'd release our pets when it started doing bomb toss that if it were a non-suicide bomb, it would cancel the bomb toss. Obviously it would be on us from that point on, taking some swings at us, but once we got our pets back on him...
