I went from 41-46 fairly fast in this place



Extemely nice Duo/Trio Spot is the spring area close to Ifrit's Cauldron, in the little hallway with crawlers leading to the upper grass area with gobs and Big Jaws. Watch out for the NM Tree that pops there, handed me and another BST or asses lol luckily theres a zone nearby leading to Den of Rancor.

Garliage Citadel was too dangerous and crowded for me, Desert too broad for chains. So I went here, just recommending it to anyone in the lvl range

Blisted a noob last night, and got 3 annoying quests out of the way. I'm makin ~serious~ progress...

I'll keep that spot in mind when (if) i get to 41+

BST 47??

Wow, youre leveling that faster than I could level a normal job. Unless it gets SUPER easy after 35, I cant see me getting to that level anytime soon. I have been leveling WAR lately, but for really lame reasons (as a sub to RDM when needed, and to have Gr. Axe skilled for my DRK) After spending the last 2 nights in Valkurm and gaining a whopping 2 levels, I'm done for now. At least I'm at a level I can move on to Qufim worms or Sauromunge Beetles and leave that dreaded beach and all its noobs behind.

Off topic but interesting: Of the half dozen or so groups I've had at dunes over the last few nights, almost all of them had a PL. At first I didnt think anything of it, but then I realized that these noobs bringing PL to group are just doing it because they have no idea how to form a REAL exp group themselves.

Back to BST tonight, unless I get a pt with my RDM. /cheer

Just thought of something... arent you a good level for Gustav Tunnel? Bats/flies on gobs? Or have you passed that already?

Yeh I noticed that too when I had to bring my whm through the Dunes, every pt had a pwrlvler, same on qufim. Oh well at least i didnt have to do much to lvl lame whm. But dude Im amazed at what lvl I'm at too, I dont know if its release but it has gotten incredibly easy to gain lvls and every now and again I get to Duo with someone from my all-Bst LS and its massive xp, double what a great regular pt would average. Believe me it dont seem like it till you get it, but "Leave" is a godsend. I havent tried Gustav yet. Guess thats my next stop. I was doing ok in labyrinth of onzozo but after awhile people just started coming in, killing all the cockatrices. I been to every place at this lvl that I "can" lvl in and all of them are dangerous now:mad: you cant pull without sneak in some areas and invis in others so I gotta fork cash until lvl 50 for prism powders. This is where it gets slow I guess.....

Got a sweet PT with my RDM last night killing Gobs in Bibiki Bay. Went from 4400/32000 to 21175/32000. Great leveling session to say the least. Cant wait till 64, and moreso 65 so I can start Dynamis and Avatar fights.

Downside is I couldnt level BST... maybe this weekend, but I kind of got a new motivation to level RDM. Guess its just being sick of seeing all these players I used to party with at level 70 now, and Im still low 60's.

I will definately get back to bst, as I love the job, but I'll probably do it more in my down time.

Nice man! I dont think I'll be in gustav anymore without a partner though it was going pretty good for awhile until pts showed up. But its not bad just expect to die there couple times. The only good thing that I really liked about there is that I saw BANE! A NM Dragon. I attempted to see how strong a dragon really is ( I didnt even know what lvl it was ) So I tossed a leech after it and ran a safe distance away. As soon as the leech missed the first hit, its life vanished to near death. I was like WTF! And began my run down the tunnel to Cape Terrigan. I think I had a good lead on it but for some odd reason, like I think someone mentioned here before mobs gain a insane speed boost chasing you down there. Well either that or he can tele or fly I dont know but within 2 hits of full life I was lying face down thinking to myself wow that was sorta worth being stupid. Oh well I let my BST LS know what the hell just happend and they contacted our Sister HNM ls. They came down with 1 pt, thinking they would die too, but they beat it, through a hellish fight. They got the enhancing sword worth 7mil+ on our server and a whole buncha other items, so I got rewarded when the sword sold, which took about 6hrs
. So I'm currently 300k richer

What a story. Yes, by the way, Bune is an HNM dragon... very tough, and the drop rate on that sword is brutal. The LS that killed it was extremely lucky to get that drop (hence the 6 mil price tag)

Got 64 this weekend, and I'm 14000/33000 to 65... I think I'll go back to BST a bit when I hit 65. I really need my Moldavite earring, and I figure 65 is a safe level to solo the NM that drops it. If I can just silence the SOB, I can take him down with ease. With 239 Enfeeble skill, I see no reason why Silence shouldnt stick on a lvl 50 NM.

The difference between me and you Beast, is that when you hit a road block leveling BST, you got through it and kept going, I kinda put it on the back burner, as I really really dont want to go back to Korroloka, but its the only place Im going to make decent exp at my level. I've just been failing too many charms lately, and I'm not dishing out 300k for a monster signa (maybe more since chinese started camping torrent 24/7) I already have all the +CHR i can get at my level. 2x Hope Rings, Nobles ribbon, and BST whistle.

Yeah its definitly all about motivation I think, cause there was times when I was like wow can this be any tougher. I've had so many mischarms at bad times it wasn't funny at one point. But the best thing to do is not panic, and look pass to whats coming up in the future, "Leave", New Armor, AF Axe, "Invis", "Raise" (If you sub Whm). That was my motivation throughout the 30-40's. Another thing that helped was finding a All-Bst LS. I was fortunate enough to find one, and its' by far the best Linkshell I've had since I started this game. Everyone there is beyond the immaturity level you find in most LS's these days, no petty squabbles, just all in all fun and helping each other out. Althought I still get extremely bored sometimes and frustrated, I just go out and farm, go lvl whm, or just help other people out until that BST feeling come back, and I knock out 5k more xp, no matter how slow or how fast. I just cant see myself going back to Ranger or Dragoon at all because of all the crap you have to put up with in Pts, which usually end up in long waits putting it together and actually making it to camp. Dangerous Fights, and most likely death with a huge xp loss. I just refuse to base my deaths off other people mistakes anymore, hence back to BST which everytime I die, its my fault and I learn. I could gladly say I havent died in over 3 lvls. And if it wasnt for Bane, it wouldve been four . Oh well just food for thought. This weekend been pretty sweet on the funds. Our LS went on a few BCNM 40 runs this weekend, I took part in 2. Its sooooo easy as all BST, we got a great strategy. Got Erase and a bunch of other mediocre items on one drop, and Utesemi:Ni and a couple other high end stuff on the other. Just keep your head up it gets alot better.

Level 41 is heaven in Garliage Citadel. I was getting chain 4's pretty consistantly, managed to get from level 41 - 42 in about 2 hours, such easy exp.

Use the Wingrats, parties dont exp against them, and fight whatever you can find, undead, beetles, other bats etc...the only danger is a link, but by now you should be able to sort it out

Easy exp here, and i imagine it to be even better in a duo
