Alright, i was wondering of some of your experiences with BSTs in NM/HNM battles, but not with partys, only with other bsts. I was thinking we could get a list going of what is beatable(Aside from the low level NM's), and how many beastmasters it takes, no other classes allowed=P
Start with the obvious ones i guess.....

1. Aquarius- Solo, Lv60+
2. Amemet- Solo, Lv63+
3. Guivre- 5BST's(Maybe could be done with 3-4)lv65+
4. Lord Of onzozo- 3-4BSTs lv72+
5. Despot- 2bsts lv72+
6. Bloodthirster Madkix- Solo, lv65+
7. Arache- Solo lv65+
8. Hakutaku- 6-8bsts lv73+


Hopefully more people will add on to this list from experience.

Steelfleece and Bloodtear are both soloable, well i didnt get the chance till 72 ; ; when i had teleports and could port out there super quick. Probably earlier.

[Caution]

Not that he's a "big" NM but Goblinsavior Heronix can be soloed at 49. He drops a nice Axe if you want to play WAR too (Rare/EX I believe), a few thousand gil and a gold beastcoin (I've yet to get the axe)

My opinions.

1. Aquarius - solo, Lv64+ (you can do it at 60, if you cycled all the death caps to be even match to you :O. 64, you can use the moss eaters and mouriouches I believe)
2. Amemet - solo, Lv64+
3. No idea
4. No idea
5. Despot - 2 bsts, Lv72+ is correct, but Flamingos are 72-74, so you'd need to have several of the lvl 72 Flamingos already out so you can hot-swap. Otherwise, 74+ duoing is much easier.
6. Lv65+ sounds about right, just marathon with crabs and lizards
7. When Recluse Spiders are EM or lower, then this is fine, but I forget what lvl they are. ;x Probably is 65+ Got to be careful of the raptors nearby.
8. Hah.. Hakutaku BST only fight would be insane. 8+ Lv 74+ Bsts all using Millioneyes could probably have a good chance. Guessing fight duration could well be 30+ mins. ;x

I've heard of people soloing Tyrannic Tunnok (Lohar NM); Ose is supposed to be possible as well, though a blaster could end things.

I remember hearing you can charm Ose like it was a fluke...dont know how true it is, but if so, you can charm it and fight numerous beasts til its got almost no HP, then charm another beast to finish it off.....dont want the XP, the drop is what counts, and you still get drops from previously charmed beasts.

I was just posting the bare minimum that it is possible, i have seen bst hakutaku fight, it didnt look like they were having fun, pretty rough.....

Anyway,

Ancient Goobbue 3bst lv68+ can be done with 2bst around 72-73
Vouivre 5-7bst lv70+ 74 easier.
Alkyoneus solo 67-69.
Frostmane 3-4 bsts 66+
Leshonki 2-3bsts lv72+ (Maybe do-able with mouriche pets at a lower level, but im not sure...)
Narasimha 2bst lv71+
Ose (Im not sure at what level this is charmable, but i have never tried.) lv71+ 2bst is safest.
Phantom Worm solo lv68+
Tarasque lv74 Solo. 2-3bsts if lower.
Ive heard Ash Dragon is beatable with 6, but im not sure that will work...

Wow, how long did that take? I would think each lizard, crab or spider would last like 10 seconds against Guivre?

I vaguly remember reading in the last patch thingy that bst are no longer able to charm NM's. Not like this is a big deal really but I don't think we are able to charm Ose and throw him at other mobs with impunity anymore. I am too low to try charming that guy but I'd like to hear anyone with recent experience with charming NM's.

in regard to the rumor that you could charm ose (a friend told me that in game as well) , i tried it a couple of weeks ago, mebbe like 2-3 weeks ago, and i bounded him instead, which effectively means he is uncharmable.
The same friend however claimed to have seen amemet charmed with his own eyes.. did'nt get a chance to test it out though.

not that i've ever fought them, but i'm so intimidated by their reputation i dun think i haf the guts to solo them.. lol

have CC out for like 1 min, then send pet to attack, and just sit and watch, when first CC die, summon again (first one should last long enough for ur call beast to refresh) and attack with your pet, easy as that.
