Few slimes elsewhere. I'm gonna buffer my level and check back to see if those slimes are now DC, which would make me feel a bit safer about charming them and making the slime camp much more practical. DC slimes can stand up to a T bat with no problems anyway. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 02-24-2007, 06:13 PM | #17 (permalink) | | Fan of Murphie Brain of Knowledge Join Date: May 2006 Location: Largo, FL Posts: 1,553 Style: Light - Version 5 Thanks: 97 Thanked 275x in 163 Posts Gil: 6,952 Bank: 41,461 Total Gil: 48,412 Donate | Re: Bostaunieux Oubliette* I think the zoneline can be useable 30 minute camp, provided you have your 2 hour available. If you find that the interior camp is already taken by a BST, you can grab one of the Dark Aspics when you first drop down, drag it to the zoneline, 2 hour it, and keep it healthy with Reward.
Once your 2 hour wears off, you could potentially keep using the same pet. You would have to time how long charm sticks, and keep a stop watch nearby to judge when to pull, and when to wait for your pet to uncharm on its own.
It'll be a bit slower than using the interior camp. But if someone is already there, and you don't feel like convincing them to duo with you, this approach might be a useful alternative to just leaving to find another zone. Lyonheart

It can be done because you have about ten seconds before your pet despawns.
It is almost necessary to melee along side of your pet, because you will need your TP for a finishing weapon skill. Once you have reached the point where you are sure your weapon skill will finish off your target, leave your pet, hit your WS macro, and asap recharm your pet. The only times I've had problems with this method is when Rampage does crap damage and I have to melee 1 or 2 rounds to finish off the mob. BST66
