You can start here using Leeches on the various goblins, darters and bats at about 45 (to be safe). However, my favorite part is going down the tunnel to you get to the side tunnel at (G-9). This is where those lv. 57-60 PTs come to level off robber crabs and the higher tier goblins. Take a leech, bat, or lizard and pull a Goblin's Leech. As you all probably know, pets con a lot higher than their actual strength. Carefully pull a leech when the goblin is facing the other way and sic your pet on it when it gets out of aggro range from the goblins. You might have to use 2 pets b/c of accuracy issues with your pet, but these mobs have very low hp. I've been able to chain up to 3 on these guys getting xp that is always above 300 with empress ring on.

Note: be very careful on hate management. any actions will cause the mob to come after you so if you are going to be casting and spells or reapplying utsusemi, etc. do it far away. competing with other parties here might be a pain but sometimes if you talk to the puller/party to leave the pets alone, they will usually comply.

45-48 is all you can really get good exp on upper level mobs. When you go down to higher level area, you can go all the way to 53ish on goblin pets. The key is to have sneak/invis so you can pull the pet before gobby sees your pet attacking.

I personally did this at 50, and wish I had done it sooner.

Level: 46, 47, 48
Camp: I-8, J-8 area
Exp: about 2.5k/hr

Use Hawkers [45-48] against Goblin Poachers, Robbers, and Reapers [46-49]. Both Hawkers and Goblins are abundant (I would say about 5-8 of each in this area). Basically, I kept moving from gob to gob, circling the room.

It usually only took one or two Hawkers to take down a gob; plus, getting lucky on Bomb Tosses made for some really nice chains. One thing I need to note is that the Robbers are THF mobs, and as such, their evasion was through the roof. Sometimes a T Robber (if I wasn’t lucky for a Bomb Toss) would take a relatively long time to take down.

Some of the Hawkers checked as T, but a) there were plenty of DC/EM Hawkers to charm and b) the T’s were easy to convert if needed. Plus, if I was in a bind, charming a bat, or calling a funguar jug would finish the job fine.

Edit 2: Updated the level to include 48, but exp slowed down a little bit here.

I tried killing the Goblin BST pets at 48, and the exp for those were great, but I just couldn't find enough of them (2 pets or so), and had no invisible to delve deeper into the tunnels to find more. Thus, I toughed it out on Gobs, Makara, and Lizzies. When I dinged 49, I headed out to Labyrinth of Onzozo.
