Question about Advanced Jobs

Alright I wanna make a bard/whm.

I know I can't get a subjob until level 18, and i know i can't become a bard until level 30.

Lets Say I start as a warrior, and get a WHM SJ at level 18. What happens to my warrior job when I do the Bard Job quest at level 30?

Kind of hard to understand the question the way you worded it.
Anyways when you finally do complete the bard quest and if you do decide to then switch to bard as your main and whm as your sub your warrior will just be there, you can always switch back to it and it will remain the same level as it was before. Just because you stop using it doesn't mean it'll disapear and it won't factor into your other stats only your main and sub do this.
