I did the three quests to unlock Bard and I'm just curious...if you go BRD/BST, can your songs affect your pet at all? ie: boost defense, increase attack, etc...not looking to solo BRD forever, just enuff to get me to Valkurm asap...

I was using BRD/BST last night to get to 10, now I just gotta get some +1 instruments and head to Valkurm...it was fun for a while and easy to lvl...I think /BST is best bet for solo'n BRD, but it would take a while... >_> [Bahamut] Rank 5

I might have just noticed this but when you bst/dnc your pets (not just jugs) drain hp from samba. I was doing it in campaign yesterday. Pretty cool bonus.
