ok i know allot of ppl talk about the benefits and what not of Monster Signa , i also see theres now also a Chanters staff, both of wich are outtta my price range 750k for signa and 2 mil for chanters on alexander , i have my paper knife but i am wondering at 45 + if there are other suitable weapons with a decent CHr bonus that can be camped successfully or bought for a price that wont have me selling my first born ,

any ideas? its soooo frustrating :errr:

I for one, did not own a Signa until I was 55 when a friend got it for me. (Not for the lack of trying, a friend and I were over 0/65 combined before I stopped counting.) I used that stinking paper knife until I was able to purchase my Light Staff at 53. The paper knife is NOT a bad weapon. However, there are a few other nice weapons 40-51 these days. The minstrel dagger is a very good alternative to the paper, if you can get it. There is also another, Jongleur's Dagger, that is not all that bad either. Then there is of course the Shellbuster. A few decent weapon combo's are there to be had. I do think that the chanter's staff is waaaaay overpriced for what it is, and the dagger/club alternatives until you can pick up an ele staff at 51 are perfectly nice.

elemental staves are cheap and way more useful (light, dark, maybe earth)

You'll never ever touch a Signa again once you hit 51 unless you enter a level capped zone or something. Elemental Staves are way better.
