Ballad 2 price

How much is Mage's Ballad 2 going for on your server? On Pandemonium it is up to 100~120k, and due to Bard's *wonderful* soloing abilities, I'm pretty darn poor and it will take me a long time to save up for (not to mention that I'm also having lots of fun with all the mage classes, and will need 65k for Dispel soon too). Is it worth the time to hunt for the coffer key drop and the coffer that holds the song? Or would it just be faster to farm the gil? My highest level friends are lvl 50-55, if that makes a difference in the coffer key hunting.

A JP Friend told me castle vhazl coffer isnt too bad, he's gunna help me out when i get to 55 anyway :D

It was 25k on my server when i first checked now its weedled it's way up to 50k -_-

Its rediculous what happened to Ballad2 on our server fant. The price had been a steady 30k for a long long time when one day a JP decided to screw all the bards over buying and increasing the price on all the ballad2 scrolls. He went as far as buying scrolls for over 3 million each. It was rather obviuos what he was doing because he was buying/selling from himself even.

The price has settled back down to 100k, hopefully it goes back down to its original price over time. Just as a note, long long ago ballad2 was 5k on our server

minuet IV is 170k which is what i'm currently trying to save up for ; ;

if its any consolation its a bit easier to farm as a bard once you have cyclone, but not much >_<

I know what you mean Junun. Long ago I saw Ballad 2 for only 40k, and I thought to myself "That's a nice price, maybe I should buy it and hold on to it...." But in the month or so break I took from Bard, it shoots up to about 3 times that price *is kicking herself for not buying it sooner, even though she was only lvl 45 or so at the time* Its enough to make me not want to be Bard anymore (that, and my fiancee never levelling, thus making me wait for when he has the time and desire to play Pally ):p

Even my whm can solo to farm, any job can, but don't farm w/o treasure hunter, you're wasting mass amounts of your own time. Just take on weak, weak stuff. I farm 100k a day and I only kill level 8-14 mobs

I was deeply aggravated by the inflation of the mage ballad II scroll in the AH on the Pand server. I thought that it was a stab in the back to Bards, considering most everyone wants a Bard in their Pt because of our MP regeneration abilites. I thought about making a thief and getting to 50 and subbing whm to lock pick coffers in castle Zvhal Bailey's to try and reduce the prices, but none the less i just found that i would be wasting my time because there is no actual way to stop the inflation. But none the less again im sorrry that is had rose that high and in a means i hope it reduces in time.

I'm sad too, I need to buy it soon and I saw the price ; ; was gonna get a jester's cape +1 but now I don't think I can afford it after having to buy Ballad 2 which I'll need very soon.

Also, anyone else notice on pandemonium that there are hshop, mshop etc characters selling bard scrolls like crazy.

Used to be 25-30k on fairy, currently 45-50k. Got mine for 45k.

Some jerk is trying to jack up the price to above 10K on Fenrir, where the previous average was like 6500. Still I should be thankful, having read the other server's prices.
