Any easier way to raise instruments skills?

I found that raising Instruments skill is very hard. Singing goes up easily but Wind and String is just so slow. Currently I decided to just make a macro that I just use over and over, singing different one after the other but its still very slow and it took me like 30 minutes to raise the skill by 7 points for one instrument.. Is there any easier way to raise the skill other than this?

Mine seems to be going up quickly just from using in a party. I've only got one instrument that gives a bonus (Cornette).

I made sure to macro my maple harp to Reqiuem to make sure that I'm using both instruments every fight. I'm level 10 as well and have something like singing 20 and 15 in both instruments.

THRENODY SONGS!

Wait till you get Threnody Songs, every single time you cast it you'll get +0.1 to +0.4 every single time.
I usually only use my Harp when I use Paeon II, so my Harp skill is usually very low compared to flute.
But say I buff the PT quicker than usual, I spend the entire time just hitting the monster with all the diff element Threnodies (even when we have no BLM) until I get maxed out Harp.

Heck.. even if the threnody is resisted you'll get skill up ^_^

Macro Name: Minuet
Line 1 - /equip Range "Cornette"
Line 2 - /echo Cornette Equipted - +1 Minuet
Line 3 - /ma "Valor Minuet" <me>

0nce you get threnody, and have enough songs to cast different ones on melee and casters, you will lvl VERY quickly.

at lvl 33, i capped my singing lvls when only 800 exp into the level, out of like 6k. wow.

teffie! i got rdm to lvl 15- and let me tell you, wow! what a difference! songs are so much faster.

its really nice
you can start singing your 2nd song, when your first song's casting time hits exactly 80%

and did you get Hunter's Prelude :D
Thats a really fun song to sing.
It targets individual players instead of the entire Party!

never found where hunters prelude is sold in the shops.
oh well.

on that note, ALL bard songs that can be found in shops are sooo overpriced at the ah! it seems that the markup is insane.

also, i have partied with 1 ranger so far since the start of the release, and only 3 or so people that have regularly used a ranged attack during the fights. it is a cool song though!

p.s. bards rock. i just wish they could get an electric guitar.
