Any that know anything please help

i can't find anything to tell me what the bard songs are or what weapon they can use. but i have a bard in shadowbane that is good because he uses daggers and buffs himself up. and i just wondering if you can do the same in this game. if anyone can steer me in the right direction that would be cool.

Bards are most skilled with daggers but can also do pretty well with swords (i.e. my dagger skill is around 120 while my sword skill is around 111). The thing about bards in this game is that they buff the entire party they're in. FFXI focuses more on party work and cooperation than soloing, and if you want to party, bard is the class for you. After level 14 it becomes very hard for a bard to solo at all.
