BRD/RDM combo - Final Fantasy XI :: Dreams in Vana'diel :: Community

will this work out? after doin the songs,u can either support ur party with some support spells or attack the monster with magic.only problem that i see is that this combo wont hav alot of mp:sweat:

I personally love bard with curega and angle's sign.... that's a great great use of BRD's limited MP.
/rdm would work too.... but not being able to correct status will hurt you in a long way run i guess...

i agree completly with Jei. However last night i PTd with the combo of BRD/RDM - we already had enough healing power so i didn't really notice any problems it could have posed, but it seemed to work really well. she would do the usual - casut pian/ballad - but what stood out is she took care of casting regen as well - i think it would be a pretty solid combo once you could cast refresh as a redmage though. granted you're gona have other RDMs to do that but if you're able to sing both ballad 2+ and cast refresh - there won't be much needing to sit to heal MP lol.

if/when the level cap becomes 80-85 I imagine that rdm might be become a much more popular sub for bard at those levels... ballad3 at 85 +ballad2 + refresh + convert would be killer

lol no kidding - if the higher level spells didn't cost so much MP you probably wouldn't even notice their MP meter drop any XD even during constant casting.
