Hi, this is Asiren from the Bahamut server. {/wave } My highest job is a level 71 white mage (which is slowly de-leveling thanks to dynamis runs), though I don't really consider it my main job since I do sometimes get bored of exping on white mage. I haven't really decided what job I like the best, and it kinda shows... >.>;; Most of my jobs are at level 10 or higher. The only jobs that are at level 1 are bard, dragoon, and corsair.

I have played video games in general before, but they were mostly side-scrollers like Mario Brothers. I really did not play a single RPG until I went to college. o_o; That's when I saw my roommate play FFVIII, and started playing Chrono Trigger via emulator. Eventually I started playing Ragnarok Online during it's beta period. I still like Ragnarok Online, but for various reasons, I don't play it anymore... I can only dedicate so much time to games, y'know. ;P

I had been introduced to FFXI while I was playing Ragnarok Online, but at the time, I wasn't really interested in it since it wasn't sprite-based. That's right, I prefer sprites over the 3D/CG look. ;P Still do. When I look at the models used for WoW, I wince a little inside. Not to mention that some of the colors are so bright, I wonder if some of the WoW players are color-blind. o_O;

I was re-introduced to FFXI about a year (more or less) later by my boyfriend, who let me play his dragoon since that job was at level 1, and he wasn't interested in leveling it. He taught a lot of the basic game stuff while I leveled his dragoon to level 10. I had a lot of fun leveling his character, so I got my own copy of the game and created my new character.

At the time I thought my main job would be thief, and I liked the idea of having a tail, so I chose a mithra as my main character; mostly because I like the idea of having better than average accuracy plus a little more evasion than other races. While I wish I chose a less common face, I've never regretted being a mithra; I remember telling my boyfriend over and over, look at the tail! See, it moves while I walk! It moves while I stand! XD;; I still love the tail. <3

Anyway, since I had originally thought thief would be my main job (despite the difficulty of getting parties), I decided to level my warrior first. I don't quite remember how high I got my war before switching to white mage (maybe around level 24), but I do know I got my subjob items as a war, and I probably did level a bit in Qufim. My boyfriend used his Tarutaru mule to level with me; he went as a white mage. Power levelers were still very rare in the dunes and Qufim, so parties had to learn how to rely on themselves to survive.

I don't think I died so much back then; I seem to remember the moogle telling me in the last year (or the year before that) that I only died like 16 times. o_O; I've become far more death-prone thanks to dynamis. ;P

... Anyway, that's roughly my background with video games. ;P I'll stop now because I'm really rambling, ehehehe... >.>;;;

just been getting used to the new areas and jobs since i've came back, lvling blu right now to sub for drg and solo some. generally keeping it nice and easy 'till i get back on my feet^^

anyone needs anything, i'm always willing to help w/ missions or quests...spent most of my 3 yrs or so in the game doing so. (more fun than mindless xp'ing)
