Q6600 @ 3.50ghz
4 gigs of ram
8800gt 1gb

and horrible fps with only 10 ppl on the screen?

I have a crappy com myself (ok, not that crappy, but certainly no where near the high end of things) and I can run this game perfectly fine in a Pashow Campaign with 4 enemey units, 2 NPC units, 20+ PCs with full clipping, character display, weather/shadows/footsteps AND Regedit enhanced resolution and not notice any visible slowdown.

Seeing as this game is capped at 30 FPS, I don't think having 25 FPS is all that bad. Especially after having a come that would regularly dip into single digits if I left weather effects on.

Eh, something is wrong if you're getting 20fps with that.

My PC is similiar except the videocard is better, Radeon HD4800, and I never have any fps unless there's like 60+ people and mobs running around, which only happens in besieged.

Well, I don't know what FPS I was getting, but I know it didn't run well in Vista x64 in SE Windowed mode on my computer. I had a similar setup to his, except I had Sli 8800GTs, 8GB of ram, and my Q6600 wasn't OC'd. I have a 295GTX now with a 920 I7 and it still flickers but not as badly as it did before. It still doesn't play as well as my laptop with Mobility Radeon X1600 on it. All drivers were up to date.

I don't know my com stats offhand but I play on Vista 64x with SE's windower just fine
