Within FFXI, there is conflicting data.
When I put something up for sale, I am asked "Put x item up for x gils?"
When I bid on something, I am asked "Bid x gils?"
But when I actually buy something, it says "You buy x for x gil." in the chat window.
Players will generally stick to one form or the other. Some even argue the "correctness" of their choice. So which is the plural, SE? "gil" or "gils"
Please settle the arguments once and for all!

I would say to my ear, gil sounds like sheep, fish and money, singluar and plural ar the same. 'Gils' sounds like you would say 'Sheeps', which to me, sounds wrong...
