I crossplay for fun and even roleplay as a female character in our D&D sessions and found nothing offensive all about the thread since there has been absolutely no malicious intent in any of the posts whatsoever.

Crossdressing + Cosplayer = Crossplay. He's cosplaying a girl, thus, not a trap. "Trap" is a slur that implies one is a gay man dressed as a woman to trick a heterosexual men into sleeping with them - hence the term.

A slur is a slur, all I'm asking is you grow up and stop using it. I don't care if you were "joking," I don't care about "intent," I don't care if you "didn't mean anything" by it - you still used it and you are all better than this.

I spent an hour just now typing up four paragraphs on the psychology of cognitive dissonance, and the nature of art, and cultural evolution, but then I deleted it all when I realized it was just a long-winded and pedantic way of saying that certain people need to lighten the fuck up because there's nothing going on in here that isn't perfectly healthy and productive.
