Hey, Im New And Ive Got Nothing Else Better To Do..
First of all, I'd like to say hi to everyone ^_^ now that THAT'S out of the way..

Let's start the topic off with what are your fav anime/manga? ive got so many.. >_< but i like watching anime rather than reading manga's.. im trying to teach myself jap by listening to the language and reading the dubs.. i had a friend who lent me a tape with excersize books.. but she got all RAWR on me and now she wont speak to me anymore T-T

btw! im headin over to los angeles, california for the anime convention "Anime Expo '08".. anyone goin? I'll be dressin up as Guu from hale no ich i Guu, Rinoa from ff8, Miaka from fushigi yugi, Sakura from naruto

Just a quick FYI, and I'm sure you didn't mean to, but the term "jap" is a racial slur, and as such, considered by the vast majority to be inappropriate.

Now, that out of the way, I'm fairly much a fan of comedies, most harem anime, a good many mecha animes, any combination thereof (much <3 for Vanguard), and the manga that they spawn, or are spawned from. Oh, and hentai.

Yes, I said hentai. Get over it.

Greetings Amethyst! Welcome to the forums

My husband used to watch all manners of anime when we were married, so I would sit and watch them too (usually while I made him rub my feet). Some of my favorites were Inuyasha and Cowboy Bebop, I was quite surprised to see all of the adult themes that were referenced. Like many, I assumed they were made for younger audiences.

Quite a few of my students have been talking about an anime/manga called Bleach, so I have been trying to watch that now.

What is hentai? I was told it is anime pornography, but is there more to it than that?

My only encounter with hentai was by someone tricking me. I have no interest in animated porn and some of my gamer's group was trying to get me to watch it when I first started watching anime. One day someone in the group, that I would have never suspected, sent me a video to watch of "a really great anime". He called me up and told me he sent it and then proceeded to chat with me and encouraged me to watch it. My husband said that he had to scrape my chin off of the floor. The type of hentai he sent me was the "octopus" kind......if you know what I mean. >< For about a month my nickname was Octogram.

Oooo speaking of that reminds me of something I finally ran into today! I finally got the chance of playing more than 5 minutes of God of War on the PSP.
