On a serious note, DBZ is lame. It was a poorly thought-out concept that followed a fairly rigid plot guideline.

That's not true at all. It may be your opinion that it's "lame", but obviously a majority of people would not agree with that. As far as the plot goes, it was very well thought out and well executed up to the Freeza saga -- which is what Toriyama-sensei originally intended the series to end at. However, due to the shows popularity he was pressured into continuing for two more seasons. Now, arguably the Cell saga is still a very creative and well thought out saga, whereas the Buu saga may not have been as good as the previous two, but still was not complete garbage.

Well seeing as this whole thread is opinion it doesn't really matter how well you defend it... I for one thought DBZ was horrible.
