Of the two newest animes I've seen lately (Last Exile/Scrapped Princess) one was already rushed to our shores far sooner than I expected... However, I have heard little word on Scrapped Princess and was wondering if anyone else here has at least heard of or maybe seen some of it.

I've seen Scrapped Princess and happen to have like the first 15 episode on my computer. Just haven't gotten to watch more than the third episode I think. I have no clue about it being dubbed though. I don't keep track of that stuff. I happen to hate dubs with a passion :sweat:

The series is great, and I even had to name my character from the anime . As far as Scrapped Princess being released in the US, it is still unlicensed so stick to the fansubs for now.

Yes I must agree, Scrapped Princess was totally awesome!!! I too have all the fansubs so far and seeing Raquel cast magic at that guy in the little church and him freaking out about her "OMG how can you cast a spell like that with such a short chant" while he was going through this long chant to cast was just "off the hook" as they say.

That is by far the best anime i've seen yet. I also would recommend Red Lotus. (its kinda like ninja scroll) some really nice and loving sex scenes, alot of ninpo action, very sweet and endearing. I really enjoyed them both. Another of my favourites is MOUSE, if you can see it you will die laughing, but with a smile on your face, its that funny, and that sweet and good.

Yes, a girl who likes anime AND hentai, go figure.

Ive watched Scrapped Princess up to about 11 or so, and then ffxi came out ^. ~ Hehe, guess what happened then

From what I saw, it was a pretty good series. Very interesting and I liked the plot and character design. One girl who is supposed to desroy the world. Even knowing that, two people still stand by her side and woul protect her to the death. I like the magic spells in the show too And the dragoon thingy is sweet as well. It kinda started getting weird after 11-12 though lol.

Hehe, Tsu, Ill have to check out that Red Lotus ^. ~ And mouse maybe too.

I would reccomend a series I just recently watched. Full Moon wo Sagashite (Searching for the Full Moon) Very touching series. Only show I have every watch that has even brought me close to tears. (And I was close ~.~) A young 12 year old girl has the dream of becoming a singer so she can go to America to see her childhood friend (Eichi) who moved away from the orphanage 2 years ago. This dream will be difficult to achieve because she has throat cancer. However, one day a pair of Shinigami (death angels) come to look over the young girl. She can somehow see them and she finds out that she only has one year to live. So, one of the shinigami grants her the ability to turn into a 16 year old healthy girl so she can audition to become a singer and fulfill her dream. It was very sad and happy at many parts in the series, and I really enjoyed it. So I highly reccomend it ^^

I saw the whole thing, and it picked up quickly near the end (but the beginning was not boring lol) It was well worth the week of wait per episode then the 40 minutes to DL it lol. The story was great also.

Yes, it was a little slow in the middle, but it picked up at the end. The last 15 episodes are very sad and somewhat depressing. It`s one of my favorite series. ^^

It's a very good anime. I'd give it 8.5 or 9 out of 10.
Pacifica was a bit silly and even annoying at times, and Winia, who is in her early teens had huge silicons. Otherwise it was all good and dandy.

3.4 gigs for 24 episodes (maybe the usual 26, forgot)....

i think only anime keep + abnu have it, but it takes so long at only 20 kbs max..

Awesome anime, Scrapped Princess i like its animation. And why would you hate dubs?

Easily one of my favorit animes. If you like an anime that may stare at you for the first 10-15 episodes but then hug you and never let you go, this has got to be the one. The ending episodes were masterpiece. i watched the ending episodes like 5 times, the way they showed the experessions of their faces right when it happened was beautifull, it was so unbeliveable they couldnt even express anything. I full recommend this series to anyone.

one suggestion, don't get pissed off by the horrible opening song (it's just annoying, and the rest of the soundtrack also is pretty dull).

it is pretty deep (not like evangelion, but then again, nothing else is ^^ (winks to pai) ), and that is rare in the newer guns and mahou anime.
