I am completely restarting FFXI. new server and everything.

As some of you know about my other topic about me losing 1 mill gil and getting suspended and all for 3 days for something i really didnt do even though the guy is making topics with all these bs stories and gettkng his friends to say its true so he doesnt look like a total jackass... so ill be restarting to get off valefor because that was the last straw.

im wondering how all the other servers are in popular and pricing and the people.

hades i used to play but its the most expensive server i ever seen.

now i heard odin caitsith ifrit asura and ragnarok are all cool.

could anyone suggest me ANY server besides hades and valefor?

I would be happy to welcome you on Midgardsormr. All the friends that helped me out are in HNMLSs now(hell one of em owns it) not that they're ignorant not, just busy. Still help out when they get breaks, not that often though. On the other hand, I'm usually bored trying to squeeze the last 4 levels untill I can finally join em, so I can get you back on track with subjob and aht urgan acess and everything. From what I've seen is the low-levels are pretty empty and not many strangers help out(been a few "lowbie" item and gil scams going on) but aside from that, very few asshats. It's hard to setle in but once you do it's easy to get everythign worked out.

Alexander is a good choice too, not too expensive and not too many noobs

To show you what kind of people play on this server I'll tell you a story:

Once upon a time, there was a retarded newb (me) who had no idea how to join a PT and didn't know how to get to the dunes (yeah... I was that retarded). Then one day, I was wandering around W. Ronfaure asking ppl if I could join their PT (I wasn't seeking, I was "literally" going up to ppl and asking them if they could PT with me ), when I was greeted by two kind Mithra (Soshu and Azilrith ), who asked me if I wanted to join their PT. I accepted and the first thing they did was welcome me to the game and explained to me the basics (Soshu also invited me to her LS, BOOTYHUNTERS) and we then departed to the dunes.

Basically there are noobs on Alexander, what server doesn't have them, but there are a TON of nice helpful ppl willing to help you out.

And if you do choose Alexander, I can have you join BOOTYHUNTERS LS, everyone in it is really nice and always willing to help low lvl players.

One day, as I was selling all my gear and preparing to delete my character and quit once again, I received a tell.

And now I'm lvl 57, preparing for the big push to 60 this sunday. I rarely talk to people outside my LS, but the ones that I do talk to are quite the awesome people. Like Al. Al wins hardcore, and so does Alessa. Also, ClanPandaRevolution is the LS of a friend of mine, I don't go there because the leader and I have issues. But honestly, Bis isn't so bad once you get used to the crazy people. And if I'm available I'd gladly tank your rank 3 Dragon and help with sub items, etc.

Pardon my interjection, but am I the only one who finds it bizarre that someone would quit and abandon a level 75 character to start all over because of a three day suspension? Theoretically you could just wait the three days out and log right back on.

I'm sure there's more to the story, but let's just say I'd be a bit leery of welcoming someone like that with open arms onto the server I play on without first finding out what actually happened, minus the he-said/she-said drama.
