in Davoi, around the position H-11, where in front of the Monasti Cave entrance. FFXI will auto closed eventually when I pass certain position.

before that I thought that it was my cpu overheated, however, the real reason still cannot find after checking the cpu temperature. and IT HAPPENS 8 TIMES IN 2 HOURS! >< :mad:

Hmm... never happened to me...

maybe try disabling anti-aliasing, or turn down the graphics details?

Since Dbeeo started a post..i'm going to tell my experience as well. At pal mine ont he right side of map which where you usually go if you goin to shell hunt. There's a spot there "logging point" freezes my game if i use "Tab" or "0" to select it.

I hope they fix this bug there since it happened to me twice in a short time like right after i restart my computer...

dont know... it just only happned yesterday. I have been there before, but it didnt happened to me. Just yesterday.... TP charge to 100++ and get d/ced ><

Auto closing isn't rare, it has happened to me quite a few times and a few of my friends. There's nothing wrong with your PC, it's just a bug that pops up at the worst time :/ I too hope they fix it, but most likely they are unaware of this little bug.

for the first time last night my comp resetted on its own in quifm near the first home point guard. it happened like 3 times in a row so i ran the ffxi config and it worked after that.

I had that problem a few months before but it just fixed by itself, never happened since I last reformatted my cpu.

hmm, if it's ur ff settings than i guess u r ok, but from what i know, 90% of computer rebooting problems have to do with the ram u got, so if it's still not fixed, try that, uncertified vcard drivers might cause problems too, so better not get those really new drivers off the net unless fully tested, ohoh, my friend said his computer did that and it was with the power supply, but it shouldnt do that if it's ur powersupply

as for getting d/c, sometimes i get zone boot when lots of ppl on, and i really ahte that ><
