Does anyone have any sites with info on the newly released BC fights? I tried checking a few but they haven't been updated yet. D;/

Bcnm30 - Giddeus

Me and two friends did this last night, and we had no idea what was coming. We decided to do the giddeus one since we thought it might be a yagudo. We all got ready and entered the circle, only to find out that we`re fighting a crawler lol.

Anyway, our first fight went smoothly until the end, where we lost control and our two tanks died.

List of moves it uses -
Paralaga (Area paralyze)
Cacoon
Usual poison attack
CureIII (Holy fk, and he uses it A LOT)

Our party setup the first time was -
War/nin
War/nin
Smn/whm

We died at the end because it kept constantly CureIIIing itself and our smn ran out of mp.

The second time we went it he changed to a blm/whm, and we went in again. We did the usual, bouncing utsusemi back and forth while the blm used paralana and debuffed it (silence is almost 100% resisted). At about half health it started getting difficult, and our blm was running low on mp (1/3). So we kept going for a while and then when he was at 17mp, used his 2h and constantly nuked it. We both used our 2h`s and did renkei, followed by a stoneII MB and a few more 100+ hits and it was done. We wouldnt have won if we didnt use our 2h`s.

Wow, complete crap ~.~
However, we were the first ones to beat it on Leviathan, and that alone makes it worth it. Im sure there are better drops (Lol at least I hope there are..), but we probably just got unlucky.

All in all, the fight is very difficult. I dont see how we couldve beat it without two blink tanks and our 2h`s. Hope that helped.

PS. I use the japanese version so forgive me if any of the english names are incorrect. I also have a 10 min video of the fight but no where to host it at the moment.

Me, Xuande and Roaddog were the first few people to try BC20 on Ragnarok... 0/3. It's against three Bats, two triples and a single, the single does "Def Down-ga" as it dies and constantly casts magic, especially Poisonga which totally fucked up our Ninja and ultimately cost us. The Triples do an "Accuracy Down-ga" move a lot and spam Drain and of course Jet Stream which totally sucks. First formation was DRK, NIN, WHM then BRD, NIN, BLM. Hell, we couldn't even win by "cheating" with the Bard songs and 300TP before going in it was that hard. A party that went in after us won once and said they got Thunder Spirit and some level 20 weapon but didn't say if it was Rare/Ex or not.

We also observed a WAR/NIN and two RDM's doing BC30 there too which was a pair of Lizards - how we laughed when the tank got stoned and died as the Red Mage's marathoned.
