POL Guide (revised w/ pics)

Last time i posted in the wrong fourms so it didnt get much attention. this time with the new screen cap program im going to make a better guide that can help you customize settings and such in the POL viewer. each section will have sub headings and endingds. i hope this time around im able to reach/help more people ^_^

here you learn how to change you avatar, its the pic thats in the upper left corner. lets begin ^_^ ::

first go into POL navigator (POL-N for short)
press the button the cursur is on, its looks like mail.

youll be taken to this screen... continue to follow the cursur ^_^

a list will pop up, all the choices are the same as in they take you to the same palce but more directly. for now just choose the first one.

now a 2x4 list of pics will show up, there are only 8 pics per page but 125+ pages ^_^ surf around till you find the pic you want (~^_^~)

once you select your avatar you will automaticly be takin back to the preciouse screen. now select the last button left side bar and a pop up should appear, choose the left most button. and you done ^_^

this ends the avatar section. i forgot to screen cap the part of the last step were you choose the left most option but i hope its clear enough. the next section will be BGM and Wallpaper rotation and choosing ^_^ baibai till next time *hopes his guide gets a stick sometime*

Now on to the good stuff ^^:

From POL click this button titled Options.

to get to the options we want first select the third button down from top (follow the cursur of course ^^)

next choose the fourth option down under the sub heading. (still following the cursur) this will allow us to set our BGM setting rotattion.

on this screen select any (all if you want) bgm you want to be rotated. the far left button selects all, the next button to the right de-selects all. the button after that (the button you want to press when finsih) confirms selection/s the last button cancels.

if you go back to the options screen, under the same subheading and choose the second optoin from top of subheading, you will be able to choose background rotation.

you will be taken to this screen were you can select (all if you want) backgrounds that you want to be cycled when you boot up POL or return from it when you exit FFXI. the button layout is the same as selecting BGM rotation.

now you can listen to the music you want while timelessly (sp?) gazing at your glorious background for hours if you want. the next section will cover adding, deleting buddies from buddy list within POL-N. till next time BaiBai (~^_^~)
