Sign This! (FFXI IME Petition)

As everyone knows you are not able to type in Japanese on the English version of Final Fantasy XI. We all have been frusturated over this matter because in the Japanese version you are able to type in both, but NA version can't even if you have your own IME support. I think we all find this unbelievable and we all know the Square could easily fix this with a few patches or so. Jonnyram made this petetion and it's got a few signatures, but there is no reason why it shouldn't have more then 1000 (look how many members this board has!). Square has the Tab function which translates but that only goes so far (Doesn't even have "yes" or "no" on it).

I hope that everyone who even sees this thread would take the few seconds to sign it, this will help all of us. So when a leader of a Party invites a Japanese person into a party, and the leader can speak some Japanese, but has NA client he can communicate with that Japanese person without using TAB button. This would solve problems like that and many other ones as well. Everyone would be able to communicate with each other better.

The tab menu works fine now, I doubt this will accomplish anything. Besides, IME will probably cause more bad than good. Can you imagine NA'ers with no jp skills running around typing jibberish?

they wont run around typing gibberish because if they have no intention of typing japanese, they wont go through the process of installing it on their computer in the first place.
