Strongest to weakest. I'd like to know what is thought about the power of the jobs in terms of pure attack. From what I think...

Correct me if i'm wrong but isn't the Dragoon more powerful then Dark Knight? I keep hearing Dark Knights complaining that DRGs in thier PTs keep hitting a lot more then them...

She said pure attack, not by using abilitys. Thief is one of the weakest melee classes... Everything is where it should be, except DRG should be higher on the list

In that case Black Mage should be near the bottom. If a thief's fuidama doesnt get counted, then a blm's attacking magic shouldn't either. Summoner should be much much lower on the list, and Beast Tamer should be much much higher. With an axe as their standard weapon they are stronger than Ninjas.

It's really not a matter of damage; it's how you control it. Stifle it just enough so you don't end up kicking your own ass in the process. That's what's wrong w/ DRK (and what's so good about THF)

and...pure attack...i think drk is first...ninja is actually stronger than mnk...sad to say...but mnk got lv62 abi which make delay shorter

and pure attack like u said..not using arrow...i donno if ranger use "melee" aka hand to hand weapon to do lots of damage

Your all missing the point entirely. 'Pure attack' doesnt mean just engaging and doing nothing. Its doing what the character was intended to do. BLM's are supposed to use magic, that is their pure attack. Rangers are supposed to use bows/guns, that is theirs. Look at the big picture

Ranking jobs is pretty pointless. Subjobs need to be taken into account as well. THF/WAR stuck using shitty dagger should be way lower on the list. THF/NIN using dagger/1h sword should be higher on the list. Physical damage alone, plus the insane accuracy (based on equipment, another thing that needs to be taken into account), plus fuidama (what THF was intended to use), puts me about even with a warrior. But not a war/sam that has mad TP gain and can use tons of WS...

Point being, all j00r ranking are flawed, basis of ranking is subjective, THF/NIN is supreme, and I had sex with your mom last night.
