Wow, that thread was locked fast. Anyways, I was just checking on this site for world pass requests and I see more people need them. Would be awesome if the people who were given a world pass could buy one for the new people who need one now (I bought one recently and still have to wait). They're only like 8k??. Sorta like that idea if 1 person helps 2 people and then those 2 people help 2 more people each and blah blah blah. If you are short on gil and want to help these people a good place to get gil fast would be outside Bastok or Windurst (bee chips or silk should do it).

I've never run into a problem where I can't buy a new WP fast enough. Is the WP timer based on account or character? I generally buy on my mules since I'm rarely in town.

Kewl, but anyways would be awesome if the people who have been given world passes for Alexander to help out with these other new people.

P.S. Here are my extra question marks - ???????????????????. You keep them so that way I don't use more then what is necessary.

Is there a huge call for World Passes these days? I mean, are the endless request posts so overwhelming that there needs to be a change in the system?

Change to the system? I said it would be nice if the new people return the good will they recieved to the new people requesting. Then said an example of something I heard which gave me the idea of suggesting they could do this if they haven't already. Go stroke your E-pen`s somewhere else.

A new player is going to be hard pressed to raise the gil for a WP purchase right off. So it wouldn't be quite as easy for them to turn around and buy another one for new players, especially since there aren't enough requests generally to warrant the purchase. No sense in buying a WP if there isn't anyone to use it.

Lol, I didn't say they are required I said it was nice and I even gave places they could go to kill things to get the gil. So stop confusing suggestions with orders. Hecklers...

It would be nice, but it's also completely unnecessary. They'd be better advised to farm up the gil to purchase their spells and gear. There are enough people currently playing that it's unlikely anyone would have to wait long for a WP if they requested one via the proper channels.

I sincerely doubt anyone has gone an entire month without a WP if they made a request in the proper thread at various FFXI communities.
