| Re: FFXI "Corrupt Registry Entries" I've had a similar problem, for some reason my desktop computer's disk drive is broken and i can't use any disks, i used an external hard drive and downloaded FFXI and it's expansion packs on there, using ym laptop. After installing them, i moved the HDD back to my desktop, my other games worked perfectly, but FFXI's PoL would not open, and kept getting several error messages.
So basically the PoL recognizes one system and one system only, meaning removing an HDD and moving it to another computer, would mean reinstalling it on that computer so the system recognizes that App, i'm pretty sure that's it in a nutshell. |
