A - By your own admission, you're probably wrong
B - Both recent account jacking waves were keyloggers, and this addresses that. Since these exploits will be floating around for some time, this is a security update.
C - Reducing the opportunity to break an encrypted string does increase security.
D - Simply because there are ways around new security measures is not a reason to implement said measures when what they fix is currently being exploited.
E - WTF do you care anyway
