Re: Ixion is come (06/06/2006)
Ok. I'll bite.

If Ixion is an avatar, every single SMN who rejoices is being a fool. Even if his level 70 :Rage were half the MP cost of the others but did as much damage, it would just mean we'd never see the others ever again. You're not a Summoner if you're really just "Ixion's mp pool." Likewise, a :Ward that gives... I dunno. Refreshga. Sure. It just means it's now your sole purpose. Either it's so good you won't see the others ever again or it's crap and will never get used.

All it accomplishes, is this:

Also so that after they start bitching again idiots can pipe in saying "You just got a new avatar a few months ago. What the hell more do you want?". Have to keep the idiots entertained, they're the largest part of the userbase.
So horrifyingly true. And worse! The SMN community doesn't seem to mind!

I guess main healing is cool. Meanwhile, labeling Hastega every 2-3 minutes as "Haste bitch" like it's a shameful task and demeaning of SMN.

Am I the only person who keeps running into SMNs who seem to feel both of the above sentences are true? "I'll main heal but if you let me whip out a Summon I INSIST on using it for damage."

...

I'm done. Let's see what happens 6 hours from this post.
