It would be hard to add Golem after already giving his signature move to Titan.

I don't see why they couldn't add Phoenix - Flame of Rebirth would be the 2hr move, which would limit it enough to not be all that broken, particularly if weakness still applies - but it would make more sense in the Far East expansion, where reviving Phoenix would be part of the storyline.

Odin, Alex and Bahamut were built up too much in *this* game to make them credible summons; if not for that, they could have been, with some work. You could even allow Zantetsuken if certain NMs were immune and mobs higher level than Odin (and therefore anything higher level than the SMN) have a chance of avoiding it based on the level difference. Who really wants to 2hr to kill a bunch of normal mobs anyway?

Ixion - meh, I was never that excited about him anyway. Seemed like SE spent several games failing to come up with a good substitute for Ramuh, when there was no good reason to ditch him in the first place. But I guess we'll see what they come up with for it, if it is a summon at all.
