| Re: PLD Campaign Battles playstyle and gear? I love going PLD/DNC to Campaign. I take a full tanking set and DD set with me, but even in my tanking set I use a Joyeuse. I prefer to solo the normal mobs above anything else, but you can only do this non-JP primetime as Campaign seems really busy when there's more JP's on. I usually pick areas where the mobs are more DD-based than magic damage dealers (Passhow/Rolanberry/Grauberg/Vunkerl are my favourite areas). If I accidentally pull two mobs instead of one when soloing I use my tanking setup and simply allow one mob to beat on me while I fight the other. If I'm just fighting the one mob, then I'll wear my DD set. |
