Please do NOT do this at home!

Get a piece of drywall, then cut around the hole in the wall so you have a nice square shape, then cut the same size in the new piece of drywall, screw a couple of slats behind the hole in the wall so you have something to attach your patch to, screw the patch to the slats, and NOW plaster the screw holes and around the patch and sand after its dried! This ends your Home Depot lesson for the day, thank you and come again!
