My eye is generally drawn to brighter lighting, but since I figure that can't be healthy (I'm already wearing glasses for myopia and at my age my eyesight can only get worse q>_< ), I try to avoid it. Generally, I keep my DS on the 2nd light setting; 1st if I am using the alarm (1st = dimmest, 2nd = 2nd dimmest).
Another thing I try avoiding is leaning towards stuff, especially if I can see them just as well from a distance. It's just a wretched habit, you know. >_>;
