I've tried well over 50 alchemy related items plus a handful of other crap and her line in the .dats "Oh are you trying to flatter me with gifts? Well its working!" hasn't shown up at all. She needs an operation in the present (she states so when you buy the support)
She's a newb alchemist at the time of the crystal war. Talking to her with 60+(?) alchemy gets her to admire your skill and state she is just starting out and getting bored with magic. To my knowledge no one with high skill as talked to her over and over again, zoning after each one, like other freelancers, to recruit her. This would still be odd though as every other freelancer can be recruited by anyone.
