1. She is a "shield" type.
2. Even going through all options at randevous point, no option to change that. Suggestions?
3. I took her to Crawler's Nest to beat on bees while I farm them.
4. She kept voking and it took 300+mp/+convert/+refresh to keep her alive, then I caught aggro from 3X bees and died.
5. Is there a better way to start leveling the NPC?
6. Altepa with me as PL?
7. If I call her while a lv 17 BST, will my BST get any XP?
8. If you die will the NPC is called, does it hurt the fellowship +/-?
9. What is the most common use of the NPC Fellow?
Thanks! I hope to get some info from you guys.

2) You don't have enough bond yet. Calling them at Rendezvous and selecting "Chat" only raises it by one, once per RL day. Using the pearl also raises it by one. You need five total to change to a new type.
5) Weaker mobs? She'll get XP from anything that would normally give a level 30 character XP. They also gain a trickle of XP the entire time they're alive after calling. So death is bad, better to play it safe.
6) Worked for me, way back when.
7) Yes. She'll be capped to your current level, and will never effect the XP you get yourself.
8) No.

There is no rush. If you're not willing to take your time, don't be surprised when no one wants to give you much of theirs.
<3,
