Agreed. Snowball, as polite as you are, I think that a little research will go a long way for you. It's time that you really started paying a lot of attention to what's going on around you, and also to start learning to utilise resource sites like FFXI-Atlas, FFXI-Somepage, FFXIclopedia etc.

Okay, you may not realise it, but I have visited FFXl game sites such as somepege.com, allkhazam.com, killingifrit, and wait for it.....

All these FFXl sites I always visit at least 2-3 days every single day, and have done for at least the past year and a half or so!
They are always very useful and helpful to me for finding out things I need to know before I log into the game. I use the alla site a lot for looking up on quest walkthroughs and even printing them out to help me.
somepage has shortened versions of quest walkthrougs so I use it look up on where items in the game are sold, and what their prices are. Also to see which items are dropped from which mobs.
Those are the two main sites I use whenever I need any game info for FFXl.
I'm under the imperssion that the killing Ifrit site and Myster Tour are a bit more updated than the first two I mentioned, and can also be used to look up on quests and other things, but I generally tend to find that they may lack certain things that I can't find as I do on somepage and alla.

What can I say? - It's a very helpful site indeed for looking up on maps and covers extra bits of info which don't appear in the game.
I have all these sites bookmarked in a neat order against alot of other web pages I have bookmarked on the internet. (for which there are over 50 right now)
So that's another site I make at least a couple of visits to every day.
I know I can't exactly prove it, but I don't have them bookmarked for nothing ya know!!

As such, I'm not going to tell you what Utsusemi does except to tell you that it's a fundamental part of tanking as a Ninja. I have every faith in your ability to do some research and find out exactly what it does and how it is used - please don't let me down.

Utusemi: Ichi - Ahh..... now that would appear to be a LvL 12 NIN spell.
It uses the ninja tool, Shihei, and creates shadow images that each absorb a single attack directed at you.
THERE! What do you make of that miss/sir? Does it get a good result or not?
There's also another one simularly named at LvL 37. Utusemi: Ni. - This spell does exactly the same as the LvL 12 spell, except that it might be a bit stronger in some way. I could go through the whole list of NIN spells and what they do but it's getting a bit late here, I'm feeling tired and I wouldn't want to use up a whole page in one evening.
