| Re: BCNM 20-Charming Trio. War/Mnk with a Great axe using shield break is the best tank for this. Nin will not get shadows up with 3 mobs attacking him and anything that uses MP will have it sucked clean very quickly.
I did this myself not too long ago, set up was War/mnk main tank, War/nin DD (though any melee DD with War sub can work here) and a Whm/blm.
Everyone buffs pre fight, war charges in and vokes middle leech and both the melee beat it down. When it dies it uses a big single target stat down move which drops all your stats big time. Then you move on to the leech on the right. (this is from memory mind you, so you might wanna confirm this somewhere else. ) Now when you fight the leech on the right, it will open up with a buff/debuff drain attack. Meaning all those nasty stat downs you were just hit with, as well as any buffs you had including food, are now his. But at this point you've won, just gotta finish off the leeches.
Have both melee bring hi-pots (no other kind of pot, just hi) and regen drinks and you'll have no problems.
Mann hands drop 100% of the time here. |
