From what I have read regarding fully upgraded relic weapons, it is the most gil consuming activity in the game. If you want to choose a craft that will help you fully upgrade a relic weapon, I suggest: Goldsmithing, Smithing, and Clothcraft. I don't mean choose one of the 3. I mean multiple characters so you can have multiple 100 crafts.  Lyonheart
