I have something against superfluous threads. I like a bit of order. And when someone makes a thread simliar to something we had no less than a month ago (If FFXI was real, which is a topic that pops up on message boards like this about once every couple of months) it just seems unnecessary. You don't have to make threads. If you have something new to talk about, great! Post a new thread. If you want to talk about something that's already been discussed, use the search function and bump an old thread with your new contribution. |
Well, the two posts you mentioned as posting up every couple months were both different from my thread. One was about what job would you choose if you could live in ffxi and not have a sub, and the other was what would you do if you could live in ffxi. Mine was freeform and has responses ranging from rl situations similar to ffxi and ffxi situations similar to rl.
As for the gilselling threads, each one seems a bit different. This one is about gilbuying and speculating on how many people buy gil. Others have been about different aspects of gilselling.
If you don't want to read them, then don't. It's pretty clear what they're about in the titles. Also, you made a note to yourself to come up with new stuff to talk about. Give that a try.
