My experience has been that I've met a lot of one time buyers who didn't know at the time what kind of an effect gil buying had on the economy and who know are 100% against it. The chronic buyers seem a little easier to pick out.
I mean, sure, I'd like to think that all the people on my server that are rolling in gil, or seem to have a lot of luck farming or crafting are just buying their gil all the time, but since I'm not following them around 24/7 I really have no way of knowing if that's true.
I'm still willing to bet that more people buy than most people think. That's just what
my gut tells me.
