Lol it's not about amateur or not but the fun involved. Our ls is rather tight and our leader doesn't have a spare 10 million. Alot of our ls are newbies much like myself so it's just an opportunity to get some nice starting off gil. Personally, 1 million gil means a huge deal to me, it can mean decent equips all the way to 50 or so, or to have enough to start a craft which I've been dying to do...just got to win it.
Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if I found everyone became THF or PLD in the race, but as I said, lots are newbies so let's hope they don't figure it out
