Re: Content ID/undeleting characters information
I recently attempted to reactivate my PoL account. I had my PoL ID, and my password however when I attempted to log in it informed that me the ID or password where incorrect. I used the live chat program in an attempt to figure out what was going on. the following is a transcript of that chat session, minus sensative personal information.

FFXI TSR Gary A.: Hello, Robert, thank you for contacting the PlayOnline Information Center. Just a few moments while I review your question, please.

Robert Greiner: sure

FFXI TSR Gary A.: For security reasons, we are unable to address your account issues without first verifying your identification. Please respond with the following information:

FFXI TSR Gary A.: PlayOnline ID
Full Real Name
Birthdate
Complete Mailing Address
PlayOnline Registration Code
Current Credit Card information, first 4 and last 4 digits only.

Robert Greiner: PlayOnline ID: -snip-

Robert Greiner: Full Real Name: Robert Greiner

Robert Greiner: Birthdate: *** ** ****

Robert Greiner: Complete Mailing Address: *********************************

Robert Greiner: Play Online Registration Code:
-snip-

Robert Greiner: when you say current credit card, do you mean the one I'd be using the pay for the service, Or the one I used originally to pay for the service

FFXI TSR Gary A.: Your account has been deleted for being unsubscribed for too long. Unfortunately, we are not able to be reactivate the account. If you would like to continue playing you will need to buy a new game to register a new account.

Robert Greiner: ah ok, suspected as much. Thanks for the help.

Your session has ended. You may now close this window.

- So yeah, dispite what everyone is saying about them never deleting your PoL account.. they clearly do.

neighbortaru EDIT: dude, do not give out that information (even if you have been deleted; better safe than sorry)
