you will learn with time that you shouldnt just sit around waiting for pt, there are a number of things you can do to fill your time, i have found these to be quite refreshing and i usually end up getting a pt when im actually not wanting it anymore because im entertained doing these things:

Raise fame: Farm any items you need to raise your fame in citirs, this is usefull in so many ways: fame raising quests usually give you money, raising fame opens up more quests with many nice rewards, having good fame opens up avatar fights, you might get payed later to join one of these, ive gained 300k doing a shiva fight, i know people pay for avatar fight help, dunnot how frequently though, point is, im glad i raised fame while seeking heh.

Start a craft: If theres something more difficult and rewarding than leveling up ur character, its leveling up ur craft skills, grab a stack of required crystals and a few ingredients and start craftin! goldsmith, bonecraft, smithing and others are especially time consuming if you decide to get the materials yourself through mining/excavating, meaning you may kill even more time doing these things while seeking, personally i got goldsmithing 27 while waiting for parties, ive turned down so many too... but im blm i guess pts come and go much easier, but all the same.

Mine/excavate/log/fish: Little investment required for decent profit, and great time fillers, and i can say through experience that these means have been my main source of income, and i only do it while seeking.

Anyways point is, FILL YOUR TIME, dont /sit all day near pt zone... that's insanely boring, if you dont feel like doing these other things then i suppose you could go watch a movie or brush your teeth for hours on end waiting for a pt, if shovel came to toe, and you dont end up with a pt after many hours... you might consider starting your own pt, if youre still having trouble after all these solutions, you might wanna take a break and try again later, sometimes it's just like that... sometimes there might not be enough people and that no one has a solution for, if you feel its unfair that you cant find a pt on your day off, perhaps you should fill your time with something else, there's more to life, apparently XD
