I'd like this thread to have all the be all end all information regarding cancelling your PoL account, cancelling content IDs, losing and regaining characters, and the differences in the approaches. The problem is that as I research through various threads, there are many varying opinions and interpretations of the User Ageements. You almost need a law degree to interpret them correctly. Add to that the confusion is compounded by the fact that the online agreements differ from the manual, but I'll use the online ones because they
should be more up to date. Finally, there are inconsistencies in reports from players who are in similar situations, but have different outcome.
Mainly, I'm using the
Square-enix Im Not Happy!!!!! thread as a recent source. What I'll do for now concentrate on what is known to be accurate and consistent. First the easy part...
