There are ten different macro sets for each character. You can access the differen sets by holding ctrl-shift # or alt-shift # where # is a number. Ex: ctrl-shift 2 changes the macro set to the second set. alt-shift 0 changes to the 10th set.

Alternatively, using ctrl or alt + up or down arrows can change sets too. Third alternative would be to change sets in the macro editor under Config in FFXI itself.
