| BST subs work great; do a search on posts around here for some info.
the only thing is that your charm rate will depend highly on your BST lvl as well; the formula that's usually given is that your charm rate is equivalent to (Main Job LVL + (Main job lvl OR BST job LVL, whichever is lower) ) / 2. i.e. if you have a lv70rdm and a lv70bst you will have charming capabilities comparable to that of a 70bst. if you have a 70rdm and a 35 bst you'll have 70+35=105/2=a ~lv51's charm ability. the actual rate is slightly lower, but Skilling up using EM birds while my blm was at 74 I had absolutely no problems, as long as i used proper CHR boosts and a light staff. |
